- Implementation of the center's plans and sending progress reports to the Directorate of Livestock and Fisheries Development
- Managing the demand and supply of different types of fish
- To identify, develop and expand appropriate fishing techniques for the reservoir
- Providing fisheries related laboratory services
- Conducting programs related to the use of natural reservoirs and protection of aquatic life
- To do the necessary work for the identification, utilization and protection of nuclear resources
- Co-ordinate research activities with Nepal Agricultural Research Council, and Universities
- Co-operate in conducting training in coordination with Animal Services Training Center for farmers and technical training as a subject training venue
- Conducting field studies and research to develop the reservoir as a place of learning. Facilitate fisheries value chain development
- Conducting skill-based and public awareness training
- Manage, analyze and update farm data
- Update fisheries related data in coordination with Veterinary Hospital and Animal Services Expert Center
- To study the effectiveness of the programs run by the farm
- Necessary co-ordination and co-operation with the relevant agencies of the Union, State and local levels
- Managing good fisheries practices and biosecurity in farm productio
- Testing and expanding modern technology
- Provide necessary technical support and co-ordination to technical and veterinary hospital and animal service expert center technicians involved in fisheries development work at the local level
- Conducting biodiversity conservation programs as needed within the reservoir area
- Managing staff
- Documenting and updating store and inventory items
- Doing work related to accounting and archives management of the office.
